Die thicknessGAUGE C.LP Sensorsysteme nutzen Laser-Profilscanner zur Dickenmessung. Die Scanner projizieren eine Laserlinie auf die Oberfläche. Dank der Laserlinie können Bandverkippungen kompensiert und Profile gemittelt werden. Das Laserlinien-Messverfahren erlaubt auch die Dickenmessung von strukturierten Materialien wie geprägten Oberflächen oder Lochblechen.

Präzise Dickenmessung mit Laser-Profilscannern

Die thicknessGAUGE C.LP Sensorsysteme sind betriebsfertig montiert und werkseitig kalibriert. Sie bestehen aus einem stabilen Rahmen, an dem zwei Laserscanner befestigt sind. Die Scanner erfassen die Dicke des Messobjekts nach dem Differenzprinzip. Die Laserscanner sind montageseitig exakt aufeinander ausgerichtet und ermöglichen dadurch eine hohe Messgenauigkeit.

Über eine Linearachse wird das Sensorsystem von der Parkposition bis zur Messposition verfahren. Zur vollautomatischen Kalibrierung wird das System in die Parkposition zurückbewegt.

Die thicknessGAUGE C.LP Sensorsysteme werden zur präzisen Dickenmessung von Bändern und Platten eingesetzt. Das System kann einerseits zur Festspurmessung eingesetzt werden, z.B. zur Center-Line Messung (Mittendicke) oder zur Dickenmessung am Rand. Dank der Lineareinheit kann der thicknessGAUGE auch zur traversierenden Dickenmessung bis zu 600 mm Bandbreite eingesetzt werden.
